The housing is designed in glossy black is made to give the engine compartment a visual upgrade and is part of the MMR Performance engine compartment detail range. The original plastic oil filter housing is very fragile and tends to crack when disassembled. This MMR Performance oil filter housing is designed in aluminum and is significantly more durable. The oil cover fits all BMW models with N20, N52, N54, N55 and S55 engine code Note - When mounting, it is required that the O-ring from the original is mounted on the new filter housing.
